The renowned German manager, Hansi Flick, as anticipated, will soon assume the role of the new head coach of Barcelona.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the former Bayern coach will arrive in Barcelona tomorrow, and on Wednesday, May 29, a contract signing ceremony and his presentation will take place.
Flick’s contract with Barcelona will extend until the summer of 2026.
Previously, Flick posted a photograph on his X page at the train station, captioned with emojis of a train and the Spanish flag.
As a reminder, Flick will replace Xavi as Barcelona’s head coach, following the club’s decision to part ways with him due to his criticisms of the management.
Before joining Barcelona, Flick coached Bayern Munich and the German national team. With Bayern Munich, he secured the treble in the 2019/20 season, and in the same year, his team thrashed Barcelona 8-2 in the Champions League quarterfinals.
